WHERE YOU GO I GO TOO

The Norwegian guys Prins Thomas and Lindstrøm are hot together when it comes to music. Lindstrøm proved this week that he's just as hot as a barbecue solo. His album consisting of only 3 tracks was released in the beginning of this week. 'Where You Go I Go Too' is the best I've heard in indie dance/nu disco department in a long time. It's perfect that the album only consists of so few tracks lasting together for 55 minutes, because you don't want the tracks to stop. First time I heard to album I just wanted to go for a car ride destination unknown.
Personally I'm seeing Prins Thomas playing at Blå in Oslo tomorrow. I'm expecting spacey disco and another hot solo.

Here's a taste of the album 'Where You Go I Go Too'. If you like you buy ;) This track is deliciously playful and delicate.

Lindstrøm - Grand Ideas (Original Mix)
(electronica, 2008)

Because it's been forever since the last post, here's a fantastic remix by another great Norwegian dj.

Metronomy - Heartbreaker (DiskJokke Remix)
(electronica, 2008)

And because it's weekend, I'm giving you a bonus remix. Kris Menace really worked the beats.

I heard she'd break your heart again.

PURE LIFELIKE

Lifelike is starting his USA tour with Alan Braxe this upcoming weekend. Despite the lovely summer that just started here in Norway, I wouldn't mind clubbing at Studio B in NYC this Saturday either. I guess I'm not the only one. Which sane person on earth would pass the chance to see these French guys live doing what they do the best? What do they do the best you ask? French house music, duh!

Since some of us still have exams and don't own a private jet, we're stuck in Scandinavia/insert your home. No need to cry though, we still have their frenchtastic mp3s to get through the summer days.

Here are a couple (uhm) of my favorites by Lifelike.
