SUPERDISCOUNT

Last Friday - the final day of Malmö Festival, live performing and wrapping up an overall dull festival were no other than Etienne De Crécy. So there I was, at the city square, filled with people, watching visuals that can compete with Daft Punk and dancing to the music which, literally – could start fires. This could been one of my best live-act experiences. So if you haven’t seen Etienne De Crécy live yet, I suggest you do just that. For now, get these tracks and go visit his MySpace to check out the video-clip of his live performance, then maybe you’ll get an idea of how it's done..

Etienne De Crécy - Punk

WHERE YOU GO I GO TOO

The Norwegian guys Prins Thomas and Lindstrøm are hot together when it comes to music. Lindstrøm proved this week that he's just as hot as a barbecue solo. His album consisting of only 3 tracks was released in the beginning of this week. 'Where You Go I Go Too' is the best I've heard in indie dance/nu disco department in a long time. It's perfect that the album only consists of so few tracks lasting together for 55 minutes, because you don't want the tracks to stop. First time I heard to album I just wanted to go for a car ride destination unknown.
Personally I'm seeing Prins Thomas playing at Blå in Oslo tomorrow. I'm expecting spacey disco and another hot solo.

Annie - The Wedding (Prins Thomas & Lindstrøm Remix)
(electronica, 2005)

Here's a taste of the album 'Where You Go I Go Too'. If you like you buy ;) This track is deliciously playful and delicate.

Lindstrøm - Grand Ideas (Original Mix)

Because it's been forever since the last post, here's a fantastic remix by another great Norwegian dj.

Metronomy - Heartbreaker (DiskJokke Remix)

And because it's weekend, I'm giving you a bonus remix. Kris Menace really worked the beats.

I heard she'd break your heart again.

GREEN LIGHT

A Marvel Team-Up-like project with John Legend and André 3000, with a twist of the Canadian All Stars - MSTRKRFT, results in a massive dance floor hit. I’ll give you the Green Light.

RAPTURE

The French sensation DatA has done it again. For the third time in a row he has released a great EP in his "Rapture". This guy is a real genius and has an ability to make music like no other. Here on his latest release he’s got Sebastien Grainger (former singer in "Death From Above 1979") to do the vocals. DatA is one of the best artists of the French Club scene, make sure check out his new material!
